Smart Factory HUB Final conference: The Future of Manufacturing Importance of Digital Innovation Hubs for Digital Transformation in Manufacturing Industry
Maribor, Slovenia was the center of digital innovation for manufacturing during the final conference of Smart Factory HUB. The event bought renowned experts and representatives of European Commission, Priority Area Coordinators, Horizon2020 Programme, Danube Transnational Programme, and various research organisations, policymakers, universities, business support organizations and other, who gave valuable presentations to topics, such as: Success stories in numbers and achievements from Danube countries in the frame of Smart Factory domain, Capitalization activities, Lessons learned in establishing DIHs, Importance of DIHs at the European and regional level, Regional and/or cascade funding opportunities and many other.
Conference "Industry and Digital Transformation: Fears and Hopes"
Learning and Demonstration Seminar and Conference "Industrial and Digital Transformation: Fears and Hopes" took place on 19.10.2018 at Microsoft Innovation Center Bulgaria, Sofia Tech Park, The event was organized by ICT Cluster within the framework of the Smart Factory Hub project funded under the Danube Transnational program.
GIVE cross-industrial collaboration focus group
GIVE partners have met last week in Cluj Napoca, Romania in order to participate at a focus group on cross – industrial collaboration among ICT, Automotive and Green Industry. The activity is part of the WP2 of the project aiming to contribute to the elaboration of Intelligence Market Report and GIVE Internationalization strategy. The focus group discussions were based on the results of GIVE project survey where companies from 6 countries and 3 sectors have participated. The common interests were grouped in two areas of further intervention of the ESCP - smart transport and electromobility and smart cities. Next focus group will be in Sofia in September, and it will be focused on barriers for internationalization of SMEs.
